INVESTED is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit expanding economic mobility through career-readiness and financial education. We close the gap between high-potential students and the employers who should be hiring them — by replacing resume guesswork with verified evidence of student capability.
Why this exists
Just 52% of recent four-year graduates land a job that requires their degree a year out; 45% remain underemployed a decade later. AI-generated applications have overwhelmed the resume, recruiters are drowning in noise, and capable students at HBCUs, MSIs, community colleges, and regional universities are going undiscovered — not for lack of capability, but because the pipeline can't read past the credential.

Live pitch competitions
Live pitch competitions that put students in front of corporate judges and recruiters — with prize money, scholarships, and direct career opportunities for finalists.
A verified-signal platform
A platform that captures pitch videos, judge evaluations, and structured competency scores — creating a portfolio asset students own and recruiters trust.
Institutional partnerships
Partnerships with universities, employers, and mission-aligned foundations that turn one-time events into ongoing access — at zero operational lift to our partners. We handle logistics, vendors, production, legal, and reporting end-to-end.

INVESTED is operated by Invested Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 and registered in the State of Maryland (EIN: 33-3456828).
INVESTED delivered its flagship at North Carolina A&T in 2025, ran additional competitions drawing students from institutions across North Carolina, and has awarded more than $35,000 in scholarships and prizes to student competitors. 100% of flagship finalists received professional evaluation and feedback.
